Stage Show Schedule at Family Science Days

The Stage Show Schedule is posted for the Family Science Days, and the Mythbusters are first up on Saturday! I think I have a view of the stage from the GalaxyGoo booth, and I'm looking forward to their show. It would be cool if they'd stop by our booth, and pose for a photo with me. Even better, wearing GalaxyGoo T-shirts :-)

Real-Time Fluid Dynamics for Games

A recent thread from Flashcoders deals with the physics of fluid dynamics, where 'Raigan' from Metanet Software has provided a link to Jos Stam's paper on Real-Time Fluid Dynamics for Games. It explains the development of a stable algorithm, written in C, depicting fluid dynamics within a computer application based on accurate but unstable physics-based algorithms ... the so-called Navier-Stokes Equations ... made stable by applying the Gauss-Seidel relaxation algorithm within the diffusion step.
