Edward Tufte: Ask E.T. forum

my auntie's husband in canada is studying for his phd... 'flow' and the like... he's emplying navier-stokes equations etc... he came over during christmas and we were discussing (not-so-accurate) visualization of complex fluid mechanics data... i showed him some of the math stuff u guys are doing with flash and we got to thinking java/flash (based on my flapplet framework--which i still have to publish)... i thought i was done with math :), but if this proj has to see daylight, my fluid mechanics has to come back on track

Sounds like a really great idea for a project.
