What's going on here?
The steps of a dichotomous key are fed to the flash application in an XML document. Each interactive element is dynamically generated.
Information for each step is formatted into a single XML node, with attributes:
<step step_order=" " a_text=" " b_text=" " a_path=" " b_path=" " />
Future features will include a menu of keys to select from, and the ability to backtrack through the steps, and a traditional presentation of the key.
