What's going on here?

This interactive learning tool was developed to help 7th graders to attain greater understanding of the cell and to retain knowledge required for the State of California Standards.

Both onscreen and off screen ("hands on") activities are provided. Off screen activities include printing outlines of the cells which the students cut out, color, assemble, and label. Onscreen activities include self-quizzing.

Technologies used include Flash, XML, and FlashPaper2.

This is the first version of the project. Future versions will include information about plant cells, comparisons between cell types, and life science (ie biology) curriculum for higher levels of education. The current version can be viewed here.
